1. Wagener Holiday Park
Dubbed as Houhora Heaven by visitors because of its natural beauty, Houhora heads has been one of the most popular camping grounds north of the Bay of Islands since the early 1900s. Today it is recognised throughout Northland as an affordable family camping ground and holiday park. The campsite is just 75km to the Cape Reinga lighthouse.
